I was born, bred and graduated in the same city: Saigon.
At my first job with the Television Station in 2010, I learned to use betacam tapes and broadcasting programs, and freely applied what I learned from my graphic studies.
By participating in the production of many TV series, I was introduced to the idea of script, story and characters. Time pressures on reality TV shows like Vietnam's Next Top Model, The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance and Yan Around trained me to be responsible and manage group work appropriately. Each episode was a precious documentary that showed the strong passion of contestants from all over Vietnam, which I had the fortune of witnessing with my own eyes. They were really on fire!
The interest in post-production work continued to flourish as I went on to study VFX at HanVietmedia and Pixels Garden post-house as an assistant online artist, where I developed skills in the Smoke and Flame software.
And by fate, my enthusiasm and passion for movies guided me to Kantana post-house, where I was able to receive true sharing, practice patience, and learn important rules in the world of feature films.
In 2019, at ViewFinder, a production house, my horizon expanded as I observed and befriended the lighting and camera crew, as well as the directing, storyboarding, costume, and production teams.
There is no redundant knowledge as long as I work hard. Keeping the passion is at the the core of a long but fulfilling journey. Since I was a child, I have always loved drawing and colors. Now, I get to combine different technical practices and deepen my ideas, all of which help each picture to connect, and create real emotions for each film.
